In this article, we will be taking a really in-depth look into yet another multivitamin supplement.

The Garden of Life Vitamin Code Men Review will be much about its various nutrients, beneficial substances, additives and everything else you might need to know about the supplement.

I plan on covering it all, so you wouldn’t have to keep looking at different reviews out there for more information.

At any time if you feel that there’s anything I haven’t covered but you would like to know about regarding the supplement, just let me know in the comments. I will add a relevant section in the review.

So, let us dive right in.

Garden of Life Vitamin Code Men – Overview

Garden Of Life Vitamin Code Men Review – Garden of Life Vitamin Code Men's Multivitamin ReviewGarden of Life Vitamin Code Men or also called as Garden of Life Vitamin Code Men’s Multivitamin is a very solid looking supplement, supposedly geared towards improving men’s health and well-being.

The manufacturer claims it to be “specifically formulated to meet the unique needs of active men, providing the nourishment the body craves to maintain optimal health and well-being”.[1]

The whole supplement as of itself is delivered through the Garde of Life’s RAW technology, which basically is noted to mean that the nutrients within the supplement come with their natural cofactors, along with live probiotics and enzymes, just like raw foods.

Which is really great if they’re able to pull it off.

They also emphasize the fact that added to the nutrients (vitamins and minerals) are also the 23 fruits and vegetable blend. Supposedly, all to meet the needs of active men.

Other than that, it’s mentioned to be approved by the NON-GMO project, as well as to be Kosher, Vegetarian and Gluten Free.

So far so good.

The Supplement Provides Everything Nutrient Diversity Wise

Overall Garden of Life Vitamin Code Men is really a diverse piece of supplementation.

In terms of vitamins, there’s the vitamin C, D, a whole bunch of B vitamins, vitamin K. There’s everything of the 13 crucial vitamins apart from vitamin A in its preformed form.

Garden Of Life Vitamin Code Men Has At Least A Little Bit Of Every Crucial Vitamin And Mineral (Except For Preformed Vitamin A)For some, this may cause some confusion as the supplement clearly lists vitamin A as one of its ingredients. However, there is kind of two components of the vitamin A in existence.

There’s the Carotenoid form (alpha-, beta-carotene etc.) and then there’s the Retinoid form, which is also regarded as the preformed form of vitamin A.[2] [3] [4] [5] [6] [7]

Both of these are extremely crucial and one can’t really replace the other. So, it’s definitely a drawback for the supplement at hand.[8] [9] [10] [11] [12] [13]

If we look at the minerals, we see the same complete diversity. There are all of the 11 fundamental minerals that need to be there.

Sadly, though, the Vitamin Code Men does not offer any Choline or Inositol. However, there are a bunch of mixed Carotenoids to the supplement, which most other supplements fall short on.

So, it might seem that it’s a really good supplement. But there is a huge drawback to all of this.

The Overall Nutrient Amounts Are Pretty Scarce

While the diversity in terms of the nutrients is at its finest, there is a huge problem with their actual amounts.

Ideally, we would want them to be either corresponding with the amounts that PDVs prescribe or at least somewhat near lower margin of them. Garden of Life Vitamin Code Men is neither.

Don’t get me wrong, this does not apply to every single nutrient that is in its repertoire. However, that statement holds true to most of the nutrients found in the supplement – vitamin C, E, B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B9, B12, Calcium, Magnesium, Manganese, Vanadium. On top of that, there’s the already mentioned complete lack of Choline and Inositol.

Nutrients Within The Supplement Are In Scarce AmountsThus, it could be fair to say that it does not look promising.

On the other hand, there is this RAW Food-Created Nutrients thing at play, which could somewhat explain this scarcity.

As far as I understand (and if someone of you knows more, please correct me) the idea of that RAW technology is somewhat similar to the nutrients in supplements based on whole foods.

Only better as the nutrients come together with their natural cofactors, live probiotics, and enzymes. All to essentially be like the raw foods.

This, plus, taking into account that whole food supplements are typically way less abundant in the nutrient amounts that they provide (but this is definitely not for every single one), it might not be such a bad option after all.

I mean, I would still rather recommend going with one of the supplements described within the list of the best multivitamin supplements. However, if you feel like experimenting or trying out that RAW technology, just go right ahead and try it out. And let me know what you think in the comments.

But either way, let’s further explore. There is more to love about the Garden of Life Vitamin Code Men.

Additional Beneficial Substances Are Pretty Badass

The Supplement Offers A Whole Variety of Fruits and Vegetables That Are Added To The Already Existing NutrientsThey certainly didn’t lie about the 23 fruits and vegetables added in addition to all of the vitamins. There really is a whole bunch of it – combined amounts are 560 milligrams. And the best part is that they’re all organic.

Then there is also the RAW Probiotic & Enzyme Blend (combined amounts 110 milligrams).

These will help your gut to better digest and absorb all of the nutrients not only found in the supplement but also in the food you’re eating (assuming you take the supplement during or after a meal), as well as just improve your gut health in general.[14] [15] [16] [17] [18] [19]

And lastly, Garden of Life Vitamin Code Men also offers the RAW Antioxidant & Immune Support Complex, which consists of RAW Food-Created Glutathione and Superoxide Dismutase. And then additionally it also has CoQ10.

Glutathione is the most effective antioxidant there is in existence. Superoxide Dismutase is a great substance for dealing with free radicals and oxidative stress. Whereas CoQ10 is an oxidant that is vitally important for the growth and maintenance of cells.[20] [21] [22] [23] [24] [25]

Thus, all in all, looks pretty good. But there’s more to love.

Additives Look Really Good

The Garden of Life Vitamin Code Men has only two additives. One being Vegetable Cellulose for the capsule. The other being Organic Rice for the hull.

Garden Of Life Vitamin Code Men Has Only 2 Additives

There isn’t much to say about them other than the fact that both of them are completely harmless as additives. Definitely some of the safest ones there is.

Whereas many other supplements, especially the cheaper ones, seem to never care what kind of additives they are putting in their products.

And for some, this might come as a surprise, but it truly matters for your health what kinds of additives you are consuming on a daily basis. They can certainly affect you negatively.

So, just be aware of that and know that Garden of Life Vitamin Code Men is all good in this regard.

Final Thoughts On The Garden of Life Vitamin Code Men

Overall Garden of Life Vitamin Code Men might not be a multivitamin among the very best, yet it’s still a solid one.

It’s very diverse in terms of the nutrients it provides, it has some great additional beneficial substances and it has great additives. The definite drawback that it has, is when it comes to the amounts of the nutrients.

The choice of going for it can still be justified as it employs the RAW technology, which might be considered as somewhat similar as in supplements derived from whole foods, but more beneficial.

As for the price, it prices at 31.49$ for a supply of 30 days, which is about 1.05$ a day. You can get it cheaper than that though if you choose to purchase it through this link (iHerb). It will provide a discount for you and helps this website a ton.

So, all in all, I hope the article helped you find the information you were looking for, but if not definitely let me know in the comments how I could further improve this article.

If you have a tiny bit of time, I would highly appreciate even one line in the comments. That helps a ton and will be highly appreciated.

Hope to see you in another article!

I haven’t been able to find any vitamin that seems to help me.  I always feel tired and always feel like I need something to help me out.  The kicker is I also need to be careful as to what I put into my body as I am a diabetic.  Thus, at the end of the day I still always talk to my Doctor and nutritionist.

If they say things will be okay then there is a good possibility that you will have a customer.

Thank you for a great article.  I can’t wait to show this to my Doctor.

      Hey, Dale!

Yeah, always feel free to check in with your doctor and nutritionist. You never have to take my word for it.
      Glad you enjoyed the article!

Other than that, if this still doesn’t help you to get the energy levels back up and feel better, there are two things you could do.
First, start with regular exercise. It’s really important for blood sugar levels, metabolism, and all that stuff.
Second, do select a multivitamin from the list of the best multivitamin supplements. They are way more likely to make a difference in your health than this one. Although, again, this is also not a bad option at all.

      Hope that helps!
Cheers and have a Great One!

Hi, thanks for the thorough review about this product. As I continue reading, I don’t think I find anything about the certification about this product. For example any FDA approval or certified by health authorities? Sorry, I am a skeptic and that’s why am asking. I find this product very good and thought of buying for my son. Hope you can give me more information if possible.

      Hey, Florence!

You’re welcome, hope you enjoyed it.

As of the question of yours – there’s no such thing as FDA approved supplements. None. You won’t ever find any. And if some supplement manufacturer claims they have FDA approved supplements, they’re misleading you. This authority does not have the competence that is stipulated by law to approve supplements. Neither does any other government level authority.

There are, however, a whole lot of various third-party authorities, which do this. Then there’s also the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP or cGMP) and all kinds of other signals of quality manufacturing in regards to supplements.
As regards to the Garden of Life – they’re all good in this regard.

I hope that helps and answers your question!

Cheers and have a Great One, Florence!

Thanks for all the interesting information. It was very well researched.

Is this Garden of Life Vitamin only for men, or can women take it as well. I love that its organic and has natural ingredients that are easier absorbed by the body than synthetic ingredients.

Even though you say it isn’t the best vitamin supplement on the market, the price tag is not bad if you compare to other similar vitamins out there, and this one looks slightly superior.

      Hey, Michel!

I’m delighted that you enjoyed the article. really, really glad.

This Garden of Life Vitamin Code Men can easily be also used by women. 🙂

About the price tag, I generally do agree. However, there are multivitamin supplements that are among the very, very best, which cost less than this. Thus, I would consider those first as they truly do have lots more to offer, plus at a lower price.

Cheers, Michel, and Have a Great One!
