Nature’s Way Alive! Max6 Daily (No Added Iron) isn’t the most popular supplement out there. In fact, if you’ve ever been on any best sellers list ever, you probably didn’t find it among the supplements there.
However, from supplements like Centrum Silver Men 50 Plus we know that popularity doesn’t always credibly reflect the actual expedience. So, what is this supplement like?
Let’s dive in.
*This is the second article in two article series about this supplement. If you like a more scientific approach with references considering every ingredient of the supplement, take a look at the first review I did on this supplement.*
Nature’s Way Alive! Max6 Daily Is very Down To Earth
Among the popular brands it’s very common that they claim to be the best at something. And essentially so to actually convince you that they are great supplements to have. And mostly this is because the ingredients of the supplements doesn’t really convey the message of being that.
So, they use all these different persuasion techniques to get you to buy them. Yet supplements like the one we are reviewing here, does not have to do that to sell. And they don’t.
The Nature’s Way Alive! Max6 Daily’s description page is a very down to earth thing. It won’t give empty promises of being the best in some kind of area just to sell. But it rather will just let you know, what is that it’s all about.
In fact, all in all there is only one slight thing I could fault it on its description page.
The Overall Enumeration Of The Ingredients Is Slightly Off
“This multi-vitamin is made with essential nutrients, botanicals and system defenders including: 22 vitamins and minerals, 12 digestive enzymes, 14 greens, 12 organically grown mushrooms, antioxidants – Vitamin C, Vitamin E, beta carotene, selenium.”
Okay, so where’s the problem?
You see it says that it provides with 22 vitamins and minerals, which is true by the way. However, then it mentions the antioxidants and has a little enumeration of that – vitamin C, E, beta carotene and selenium.
Therefore, one might think that it has 22 vitamins and minerals plus the vitamin C, E, beta carotene and selenium. However, that is not the case.
Three of the four antioxidants are already within that count of 22. So, ultimately it’s quite confusing, why they exude antioxidants separately like that.
But, nonetheless I just wanted to make sure that you’re aware that the overall vitamin and mineral count overlaps there with the antioxidants mentioned.
All in all, however, it is a very pleasant, claim-free page to visit. Which also leaves a pretty good overall impression about the manufacturer’s confidence in its supplement.
But, ultimately, if we look past the description page, there are few things to fault about the supplement itself.
3 Not So Great Things About The Nature’s Way Alive! Max6 Daily
1. The Vitamin D Form Is Most Likely Useless
The Vitamin D Amounts in Nature’s Way Alive! Max6 Daily is pretty sufficient, but the form in of itself might be completely useless.
Vitamin D in my opinion is one of the most crucial vitamins to have. Furthermore, most of us are deficient in regards to it. Therefore, there is no doubt that along side this multivitamin, you should take a proper vitamin D supplement (D3 vitamin, 3000 IU).
The faulty stuff does not, however, end here.
2. There Are Some Nutrients That Are Not In The Best Shape
Some of the vitamins and minerals in the Nature’s Way Alive! Max6 Daily (No Added Iron) aren’t really in the best shape.
For example, it is pretty questionable as to what amounts of vitamin B9 (folic acid) will you be getting. This is because this synthetic form that is in the supplement is hard for our bodies to absorb. Also Vitamin E is only present in it’s primary form, yet there are 7 other that are not here. Choline, although could be considered okay, but lacks the amounts.
And one last thing that could also be regarded as a negative here, is the carotenoid forms that the supplement has. It has only two. Preferably should have more.
But there are also nutrients that lack completely.
3. The Supplement Lacks Chromium, Boron And Vanadium
All in all the first two areas of shortage are quite minor. However, the last one I would consider the most serious.
Chromium, Boron and Vanadium are crucial minerals to have in your multivitamin supplement. Sadly, though, this particular supplement does not have any.
Nature’s Way Alive! Max6 Daily has a lot of additional beneficial substances, which slightly make up for this, however, this complete lack of 3 crucial minerals is surely a big drawback to this supplement.
But despite these drawbacks, there are much to love about this supplement.
3 Amazing Things About Nature’s Way Alive! Max6 Daily
1. The Supplement Has Many Additional Beneficial Substances
It has some pretty basic stuff like Citrus Bioflavonoids and Inositol. But then there is also the Siberian Ginseng, which basically improves energy and mental capabilities (improves focus, memory), relieves stress, improves immune system’s function and does a lot of other stuff.
Then there are also a great variety of different blends. Daily Greens blend will provide you with the whole list of amino acids. Garden Veggies Blend will provide you with loads of dietary fiber, Cardio Blend – with many different benefits, but above all improve heart’s health.
Digestive Blend will improve the absorption of all the nutrients that you’ll intake both with this supplement and your food. However, it won’t be enough to supersede Probiotic supplement. Similarly, Omega 3/6/9 Fatty Acid Seed Blend is great, but won’t be enough to supersede Fish Oil or another proper Omega 3 supplement.
And lastly, Organic Mushroom Mycelium Defense Blend, which is designed out of medical mushrooms, which has every possible beneficial effect to keep your body healthy and free of any source of illness. Essentially the benefit list is huge, and extremely expedient.
I do encourage you to take a look at the respective section in the full review of Nature’s Way Alive! Max6 Daily in this regard.
The only down side to this blend is that it may affect the colour of your urine making it slightly greenish.
2. All Of The Additives It Has Are Harmless
The supplement has only 3 different additives. All of these are as harmless as they get and shouldn’t affect you negatively.
3. Incredible Value For Price
The last awesome thing I want to emphasize is the value for price of the Nature’s Way Alive! Max6 Daily.
Insane value for price in this case.
And here’s the kicker, Nature’s Way Alive! Max6 Daily costs only €8.65 or $10.24 for 15 days. That is €17.30 or $20.48 for a month. (And the international shipping from iHerb is insanely cheap as well.)
There are many, many supplements that cost about the same or more, but doesn’t offer no where near even half of the value that this particular supplement does. As I said – insane value for price.
Conclusions On The Nature’s Way Alive! Max6 Daily
Ultimately, Nature’s Way Alive! Max6 Daily (No Added Iron) is an awesome supplement.
Sure, (again, to sum it up) it does have some drawbacks and flaws, but the additional beneficial substances do make up for that in various different ways.
It is the immune system’s boosting powerhouse. And is the most affordable multivitamin that is extremely beneficial at the same time. And is very well rated on Labdoor.
Furthermore, it offers insane value for price, which makes it a great option for anyone that is on a tight budget. Get it on iHerb, and you’ll also get awesome deals as regards to both local and international shipping.
