They say that “it contains just the right balance of nutrients to help support lustrous hair, strong nails, and vibrant skin”. But most importantly “this innovative formula provides you with the vital nutrients your body needs to support your natural beauty from within”.[4]

The Nature's Bounty Hair, Skin And Nails Is Said To Be Capable Of Making You BeautifulAbove that, they also state that by using this formula you will look good and feel great, and it will make you healthy and in so beautiful.[5]

Additionally, there is some information as to what certain vitamins do. For example, Vitamin E contributes to skin health, B vitamins help with energy metabolism, etc. All pretty generic, all pretty standard.[6]

In the FAQ’s section, they also downplay the role of taking a multivitamin supplement while you are taking this supplement. As they put it, this is because the supplement contains many vitamins and other ingredients that will overlap.[7]

So, to put it in simple terms, it’s basically a multivitamin that has a focus on hair, skin, and nail health.

So, does it look appealing to you?

I mean is all that they claim you truly after and heavily interested in?

Let’s see how true it holds.

One last thing, to be perfectly clear, this Nature’s Bounty Hair, Skin & Nails review is primarily on the 5000 mcg Biotin version of the supplement as it superficially seems to be the more potent one. And if we’re being picky there are also no additional mixed Tocopherols and Tocotrienols.

What’s even worse, most of these come in amounts that are insufficient.

Some may initially disagree to that statement, however, it must be said that Percentage Daily Values are not the values that represent the amounts needed for great health.

These actually represent the amount of a particular nutrient that is needed for you to not get sick with a deficiency disease. Well, many of its supplements including, for example, the Nature’s Bounty Vitamin B12 and others do contain that claim – Non-GMO. On that same note, there are others like the Nature’s Bounty Biotin, which do not. And thus, the latter, without a doubt, do contain GMOs.

The same it is with the supplement of this review as well.

Namely, as Soybeans is something that is 90% of the time GMO produced, it’s safe to say that it is so also in the case with Nature’s Bounty Extra Strength Hair, Skin & Nails.[170] [171] [172] [173] [174] [175]

The best part about it is that either of those two will be absolutely compatible, meaning you can easily use both a hair, skin & nail supplement along with a proper multivitamin simultaneously and you don’t have to while using one drop the other.

Vitamin and Mineral wise it’s pretty much almost all the same stuff.

The 3000 mcg version has the synthetic version of vitamin E, which is half the effect as the natural form in the 5000 mcg version.[249] [250] [251]

The 3000 mcg version has less vitamin B2 and Manganese, no Iron and Selenium. However, over the 5000 mcg version, it has some Calcium, Magnesium, and Phosphorus. And, of course, the differences in Biotin (vitamin B7) amounts.

That sums it all up there.

Supplement Facts Of The 3000 Mcg Biotin Version Of The SupplementAs for the additional beneficial substances, there are quite a few differences.

The 3000 mcg version lacks Argan Oil, Alpha Lipoic Acid, and Hyaluronic Acid. However, over the 5000 mcg version, it has Inositol and Citrus Bioflavonoid / Rutin Complex.

One surprising aspect nonetheless is the fact that the 3000 mcg version does not have any harmful additives.

Well, yes and no.

    The article is quite useful. I used to think that Nature’s Bounty hair skin and nails takes care of the overall health of an individual because I have seen adverts on how it takes care of the health in general. Since it is mainly for skin, I want to know if it can be taken combination with other supplements because am currently taking a different supplement which takes care of the immunity boost. So please, can I combine the Nature’s supplement with the current supplement am taking? The name of the company is Neolife.

      The supplement is generally compatible with other supplements. I am not sure if I was able to exactly pinpoint the supplement you mentioned. If it’s the Neolife Super C – Vitamin C Threshold Controlled supplement or Neolife Phytodefense they’re definitely compatible.

    Hi, I am currently experiencing receding hairline and have been looking for a product that will work for this condition. This Nature’s Bounty Hair, Skin & Nails supplement looks like the perfect solution I’ve been searching for. Or maybe it’s rather the better alternatives that you mentioned. Not only am I experiencing hair loss problems, but I am also experiencing flaking skin. I have used a number of essential oils and supplements but none of them give a permanent solution. My plan is to combine the Nature’s Bounty Hair, Skin & Nails formula with The Douglas Laboratories Ultra Preventive X. In this way, I can take care of my hair loss problem while also taking care of my overall health.

    What an informative and helpful tips on this wonderful topic. Although they are a bit expensive but my sister will still buy it for her personal use, but I will find my way to take some for my use also out of the one she usually buys. We always tend to go for the weaker version of the Nature’s Bounty Hair, Skin & Nails or also referred to as the Nature’s Bounty Hair, Skin And Nails 3000 mcg Biotin version but thanks to this post on review on the 5000 mcg version. It’s great knowing that the 5000 mcg version is not really a viable one.

    Your Nature’s Bounty Hair, Skin & Nails Review made a good impression on me. Because of the balanced matter of fact and the believable way you presented the product. I noticed that you tried not to magnify the pros and downplay the cons of the product. 

    I noticed my nails don’t grow or look polished enough, my hair will need some length, and my skin could use some glow. This product is an all in one for me, then.

    Thanks for this informative review, although it doesn’t have all crucial vitamins and minerals for our well being, I will say the ingredients work to firm and increase elasticity in your skin, fight dullness and uneven texture, and even fill in fine lines and wrinkles over time. The vitamin C and biotin promote collagen production for your hair and nails too, which makes it special for this purpose. Great product, Great job putting this out there.

    That was a great and outstanding review of Natures bounty skin, hair and nail supplement. I must say though that nutrients are better when derived from the food we eat and from natural sources. Though as we age, our metabolism decreases making it impossible for us to get every nutrient we need from the food we eat and if we are not eating the right food sources we may suffer from deficiency of those nutrients. So you review shows that this product actually works. It is also important for us to check the content or chemical make up of the health/supplement products we buy because too much of the same may instead of improving health will create health problems and that may be why Nature’s bounty stated that they product is sufficient as supplement. Yes a friend of mine suggested I should use this Nature bounty for my hair that is dropping off at my fore head. My hair is so precious to me but was sad seeing that am losing my hair.     I know some people have had success with biotin for hair growth but I haven’t personally tried it. The best part about these pills is that they are so inexpensive! People pay a lot on skincare, hair treatments, and nail products, and I never knew that you could get all the benefits of them in one little pill! You did such an amazing review of the product.

    This is such a thorough review! At first I thought this was going to be a very positive review but then as I read, I noticed that you are really pointing out just how average this supplement is. I didn’t know that vitamins were absorbed better or worse depending on their bond. I knew about fat soluble and water soluble vitamins but that’s about it.I like that you showed the additives. That is something I often overlook and I now I’ll keep an eye out for some of those as well.I think I’ll pick up the Life Extension Hair, Skin & Nails Rejuvenation Formula with VERISOL. I already have enough multi-vitamins to last me for the next 4 months but I might look at your multi vitamin recommendation later.Thanks.

    This is really cool. This is just a comprehensive post about beauty and health in my opinion. I think nature bounty hair, nails and skin do work. But it solely depends on how adaptive our various body reacts to all these supplements. It really works for me though. Reading this post would make increase my intake of vitamin B7 (Biotin) substance for more improved results. Thank you for this informative post.

    Wow, you have certainly covered all the bases with this review. I am actually in two minds whether or not to buy the product. 

    I see many reasons why the product cannot work due to its composition, and then many other reasons as well as good reviews to say that it does work. 

    I guess the best thing to do would be to buy and bottle and see the results for yourself. But then again, as you suggest, perhaps an all spectrum multivitamin would be a better choice all around.

    Hello, I wanna say I really love your review about the skin nail and hair supplement. Using supplement is definitely not a bad thing as I have discovered in life that there are people who truly and genuinely need them to feel great about themselves probably due to some form of rash genetic issues.     I recently came across this Nature’s Bounty Hair, Skin & Nails supplement in search. I was wondering if this was a good supplement to add to my vitamin mix. But, per your review, I should just stick with my multivitamins. Easy enough. Appreciate the breakdown of the ingredients and the comparison other vitamins that are better. Helped me not worry about these.

    This is a well detailed and concise review on Natures Bounty extra strength hair skin and nail. I am familiar with this product and I know how it really works. It is not too expensive and I can confirm that it works perfectly. Obviously, the pros outweigh its cons which makes it much more recommendable.

    Thanks for the heads up on this lovely product. I have heard of the creators and they do have a good reputation according to many people that left comments in different places on the internet. I am sure they have other good products.
